Pure EVs on the Yunnan-Tibet Route—A New Milestone!

One of the biggest takeaways from this journey was the validation of pure electric vehicles (EVs) in extreme road conditions.

Despite the challenges of high-altitude terrain, careful charging station planning and team support ensured the EVs successfully completed the route.

"Driving an EV on the Yunnan-Tibet route has two major advantages: First, the power delivery is instant and smooth—take the NIO EC6 as an example, its acceleration on mountain roads is incredibly responsive. Second, energy regeneration is a game-changer—on downhill segments into the canyons, the battery actually gained charge instead of draining."

This journey has set a precedent for future EV self-driving enthusiasts, proving that electric cars are more than capable of tackling the legendary Yunnan-Tibet route! ๐Ÿš—⚡
